One of our USA Stockists, Alyson Scott, held a booth at the recent Equine Affaire expo in Ohio. This was Alyson’s first
event as a Scoot Boot Stockist.
Alyson met with many Scoot enthusiasts and had the chance to connect with Scoot Boot brand partner Pat Parelli of Parelli Natural Horsemanship. Events are a great way to reach a wider audience and showcase Scoot Boot products to
the unfamiliar. There is nothing quite like picking up a Scoot Boot, feeling how lightweight and flexible it is for horse owners, and having the chance to speak face-to-face with Scoot Boot Stockists. Read more here about her experience:

Stockist Locator going live
Our new Stockist locator is going live this week, 8 May 2024! Our team has been working to improve the Locator and offer more functionality to both our listed Stockists and customers. Don’t miss out; you can still update your details if you haven’t already
New features include:
Real-time update - You can update your locator details at any time, from your accounts page.
Set multiple locations - Do you have multiple stores? Or have you got employees and fitters that service different regions? Add multiple addresses to your account - you can select each address as “Stockist” or “Fitter”. Fitter options allow you to add a different person's business details, while still advertising you as the core Stockist for sales.

Nominate for Farrier of the Year
It's time to spotlight the extraordinary contributions of farriery work within our Stockist community. Nominations for International Farrier of the Year are now open. Farriers play a crucial role in the health and well-being of horses. We are proud to have many farriers now incorporating barefoot services and offering Scoot Boots globally, using their skills to modify our boots for rehabilitation. If you know a fantastic farrier who should be recognised please nominate them for this award.
Olympians using Scoots
The much anticipated and talked about 2024 Paris Olympics are only a few months away! Let's take a moment to reflect on the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the incredible performance of Sweden’s Peder Fredricson winning a team Gold Medal and an individual Silver medal in Show Jumping.
Peder's barefoot philosophy is consistent within the Swedish team, with two-thirds of the team’s horses competing barefoot, including fellow teammate Henrik von Eckermann. Both Peder and Henrick have been long-time users of Scoot Boots and have contributed significantly to the awareness of barefoot horse welfare in high-level competition. You can share this video with your followers on social media.
Peder will compete at the Paris Olympics later this year. We wish him, his team, and his horses the best of luck and good health in the lead-up to the event.
Did you know?
FEI guidelines now officially allow for hoof boots to be worn during competition for Show Jumping! The approved hoof boot must weigh under 500g per leg, which is great news for Scoot Boots as our lightweight design falls under this weight limit for our most popular sizes. To view the full FEI saddlery guidelines you can take a look here. Pictured under the section for shoe substitutes is a Scoot Boot, that gives us the double tick of approval!
